oh the downside of being caring.
the problem with caring too much for others (their feelings, thoughts, or their welfare) is that you can never tell if they appreciate it or not.
when you care for someone, it’s not that you also want them to return the favor just so you will know that your efforts are not wasted. instead, you want to see that at some point they take notice of your actions and that somehow they can show you...
